The US space agency NASA’s Perseverance rover has completed its first Martian drive covering 21.3 feet (6.5 meters).
“The drive lasted for about 33 minutes, during which the rover moved 13 feet forward, turned in place 150 degrees to the left, and backed up 8 feet into its new temporary parking space”, NASA said.
It’s been two weeks since the car-sized robot made its dramatic descent to the Red Planet.
